\n<\/span>In Indian-American composer Reena Esmail\u2019s <\/span>Testament from Vishwas<\/span><\/i><\/a> you will hear traditional Hindustani melodies and see why Esmail is one of the most important musicians of her generation. <\/span>
\n<\/span>Adolfo Mej\u00eda<\/span><\/a>\u2019s <\/span>Peque\u00f1a Suite<\/span><\/i><\/a> encapsulates different music from Colombia and was the first piece to feature the Colombian Cumbia rhythm on the orchestral stage!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Stacy Garrop\u2019s <\/span>The Battle for the Ballot<\/span><\/i><\/a> was written to commemorate the 100th anniversary of women\u2019s right to vote, and features quotes from the U.S. suffragette movement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doors open at 4:00 pm for this General Admission event. The estimated length of the show is 60 minutes without an intermission. Wearing a mask is required indoors in Monroe County.
