Join our team and help us continue bringing great music to our community!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job description:<\/strong><br>The BSO production stage manager assumes the primary role for all matters involving performance space, equipment rental and transportation, and the physical and technical aspect of all concert performances.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Time commitment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Performance Dates: Aug 24, Oct 19, Nov 28, Dec 9, March 8, May 16, usually 11am-8pm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other: Arrange transportation of equipment to and from the performance venue, attend virtual technical planning meeting for each performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 1 year commitment required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to lift up to 40 pounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to drive a small rental truck and comfortability with securing musical instruments for transport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with A\/V equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of orchestral instruments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Compensation:&nbsp;<\/strong>$300 per performance date<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job start date:<\/strong>&nbsp;August 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"mailto:bso@bloomingtonsymphony.com\">Contact us<\/a>&nbsp;with your interest by July 1, 2025<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Production Stage Manager Needed We all know Bloomington is an amazing place to live and work.
