Job description:
The BSO production stage manager assumes the primary role for all matters involving performance space, equipment rental and transportation, and the physical and technical aspect of all concert performances. 

Time commitment:

  • Performance Dates: Aug 24, Oct 19, Nov 28, Dec 9, March 8, May 16, usually 11am-8pm.
  • Other: Arrange transportation of equipment to and from the performance venue, attend virtual technical planning meeting for each performance
  • Minimum 1 year commitment required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to drive a small rental truck and comfortability with securing musical instruments for transport
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with A/V equipment
  • Knowledge of orchestral instruments

Compensation: $300 per performance date
