SUMMARY:A Musical Day in the Neighborhood
DESCRIPTION:Join members of the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra for a short\, sweet\, FREE concert at 3 pm on Sunday\, May 16th at the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts. \nWe’ll be featuring members of our string section\, as well as Sinead Whelan\, guest soloist for Telemann’s Viola Concerto. Sinead did an outstanding job with the Concerto at the BSO’s Youth Concerto Competition\, so please come cheer her on! \nWith social distancing\, the maximum in-person seating for this event will be 50. However\, we will also be live-streaming the event on Bloomington Gramophone’s Facebook page\, so if you’d rather enjoy the show from the comforts of home\, please do. \nSeating is very limited (30 chairs inside\, up to 20 standing/bring your own chair outside\, weather permitting)\, and we already have a waiting list.
