DESCRIPTION:6pm Musical Instrument Petting Zoo: a great chance for kids of all ages to get a close-up introduction to many of the musical instruments that make up an orchestra\n7pm Concert: Come on an adventure with us\, across the globe and into outerspace!\nAre you ready for an adventure? Join the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra as we kick off our 54th season\, all on the theme of Adventure. There’s something for everyone to enjoy\, whether you prefer pops or classical. Musical selections will feature film music favorites from Indiana Jones\, Star Wars\, Pirates of the Carribean\, and more. Plus\, this year’s Youth Concerto Competition runner-up\, Miranda Isbitts\, will wow you with the third movement of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto. This is a FREE concert on the Switchyard Park outdoor stage. Show up early with your kids to experience an instrument petting zoo starting at 6pm\, then spread out your picnic blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy an adventure for your ears!Are you ready for an adventure?
