DESCRIPTION:View Concert Program Here (pdf)\n\nBuy Tickets Now\nJoin the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra for Through Our Eyes\, as we encourage us all to view different perspectives\, through 3 unique pieces:\nIn Indian-American composer Reena Esmail’s Testament from Vishwas you will hear traditional Hindustani melodies and see why Esmail is one of the most important musicians of her generation. \nAdolfo Mejía’s Pequeña Suite encapsulates different music from Colombia and was the first piece to feature the Colombian Cumbia rhythm on the orchestral stage!  \nStacy Garrop’s The Battle for the Ballot was written to commemorate the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote\, and features quotes from the U.S. suffragette movement. \n  \nWe hope you join us for this eye-opening event! \n  \n  \nDoors open at 4:00 pm for this General Admission event. The estimated length of the show is 60 minutes without an intermission. Wearing a mask is required indoors in Monroe County.
