DESCRIPTION:  \nCome Celebrate the Season with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater! Pick from two festive performances with music including themes of peace and thanksgiving. The two family-friendly shows perfectly frame downtown’s Canopy of Lights: first a shorter concert at 5:30pm (with a special guest from the North Pole!) finishing just in time to catch the Canopy of Lights celebration on the Square\, followed by an expanded 8pm show as a great way to warm up after the lights have been lit. \nSpecial guests include Sylvia McNair narrating a unique ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas\, Lucia Walker singing I Dreamed a Dream\, and dancers from Motion Arts Dance Academy helping give life to excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. \n  \nCan’t make it to the theater?
