Why support the BSO
We are your co-workers and your kids’ teachers. We are your neighbors. We are your community orchestra.
Did you know that the BSO does more than play concerts? We provide educational outreach to area children through our Children’s Instrument Recovery Program (ChIRP), our Side-by-Side Concerts, our Youth Concerto Competition, and our Meet the Instruments program. We also perform FREE public concerts in the park each summer.
Ticket sales make up less than a third of our income. The rest comes from grants and donations from people like you. Your gift helps us continue to provide affordable programs and enables us to sustain our community orchestra for future generations.
